Districts of Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand is divided into 13 districts, spread across the Garhwal and Kumaon regions. Each district has its own identity, shaped by mountains, rivers, temples, forests, culture, food, language, history and local traditions.

The Garhwal region includes Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri Garhwal, Tehri Garhwal, Rudraprayag, Chamoli and Uttarkashi, while the Kumaon region includes Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Nainital, Pithoragarh and Udham Singh Nagar.
